Biography

Jonny ‘JB’ Bunyan is the squads most veteran player and continues to be a massive influence in the Scottish Basketball community. The captain has played for the Glasgow Rocks / Caledonia Gladiators for his whole professional career and he is now in his 14th year with the club! When it comes to shooting the big shots with the game on the line, or from the free throw line, JB is your man!

IT’S IMPORTANT TO HAVE PLAYERS THAT PLAY BIG MINUTES AND AVERAGE BIG NUMBERS. IT IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT TO HAVE GUYS THAT HAVE EXPERIENCE AND PLAY IN KEY MOMENTS. JONNY IS A PLAYER YOU CAN RELY ON, HE’S THERE WHEN YOU NEED HIM, HE KNOWS HIS ROLE. HE IS A KEY FIGURE IN THE CLUB. HIS ROLE IS MUCH BIGGER THAN JUST ON A GAME DAY. HE’S A GUY THAT KEEPS EVERYONE TOGETHER IN THE LONG SEASON.
