Following a successful debut campaign in the Timoney era of Gladiators history, club owner Steve Timoney joined Grant Young on the Gladcast Basketball Podcast to reveal all about the past, present and future of the club.
After a previous three-parter conversation between the two during the season, Steve caught up with Grant once more to review the 22/23 campaign, and look forward to the huge aims and goals of Timoney, and his partner Alison, who took over the club last year. They confirmed plans for a new arena which is in the pipelines, set to open up for the upcoming 23/24 BBL & WBBL seasons.
Steve and Alison’s first season as owners of the team saw them pick up a BBL Trophy victory in historic fashion, as well as an impressive second place finish in a highly competitive WBBL Championship.
