It ended in defeat today in East Kilbride as the Gladiators failed to gain a victory against rivals, Newcastle Eagles.
The first quarter saw the Gladiators unable to take the lead, scoring 15-24.
The second quarter saw the Gladiators edge out the Eagles in points 18-16, but due to their performance in the first, they were still losing to the opponents.
In the third quarter, the Gladiators were still fighting, scoring 31-28, with still not enough to gain a lead.
In the fourth the Gladiators only scored 12 points, with their opponents scoring 22.
The game finished 76-90 sealing a home loss for the Gladiators in the SLB Championship.
