BBC cameras followed the Caledonia Gladiators’ men’s team’s historic 2022/23 season. The campaign in which Gareth Murray’s talented group of import signings from across the globe, and homegrown British talent came out victorious in the British Basketball League Trophy Final after 20 years with no trophy. They produced an 8-episode documentary, ‘Ballers: Ball or Nothing’, giving fans a never-before-seen look at how a basketball franchise is run in the UK, as they negotiated a takeover and rebrand, a challenging domestic season, and a move to a new facility. With drama, heartache, and over-the-moon excitement, the series is a must-watch.
