This afternoon for our men’s side was a much-anticipated Super League Basketball clash against Cheshire Phoenix and did not fail to entertain with a highly competitive four quarters of basketball in East Kilbride. With the Gladiators taking an 86-81 Victory.
In the first quarter, Gladiators came out on top with 23 points scored by the opposition and 25 for the home side.
With a close first, the Gladiators second saw Cheshire put up 24 points, with the Gladiators only putting up 15.
With much back and forth, the third quarter ended with both teams tied in points scored.
The game ended with a victorious fourth quarter for the Gladiators in an extremely tight battle.
The Gladiators were able to seal the deal in this fixture. Tonight’s final score was heavily influenced by an MVP performance from Isaiah Hill.
