In Wales, with the stakes of the game on the hand, Téa Adams stepped up and brought the win home for Gladiators as they defeated Cardiff Met Archers on Saturday. She has been honoured with a place in the WBBL’s all-star five for the week.

In the eventual four-point victory, the American guard dropped 23 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists – another sensational performance.

The squad fought back massively in their attempts at victory. Cardiff arguably played their best twenty minutes of basketball in the first half, even outscoring the visitors 24-10 in the second quarter. The Welsh capital side showed their class beyond their 8th-placed position in the WBBL table.
