Sean Skelly and Lisa Palombo, Head of Men’s and Women’s Basketball respectively at the Gladiators joined Grant Young on the Gladcast podcast for a pre-season special discussing the successes of last season, on and off the court, and the goals and aspirations moving forward.
Sean and Lisa lead the way behind the scenes for Caledonia in a historic season, with a trophy and second-place finish to show. The two will continue in their roles for the 23/24 campaign, with both their sides heading into European competition with the Basketball Champions League qualifiers and EuroCup Women.
In the midst of a busy offseason, Skelly and Polombo have been hard at work building two squads fit for a European adventure, as well as a clear focus on the British Basketball campaign, hoping to challenge for the three titles available in the regular season, Trophy and Playoffs.
