Caledonia Gladiators is thrilled to announce the signing of Amanda Okodugha, a 6’3” Swedish/British forward, for the 2025-26 season.

Okodugha brings a wealth of professional experience across Europe, having represented Jolly Acli Basket Livorno in Italy, Klaipedos Neptunsa Women in Lithuania, Grindavik Women in Iceland and Visby Women in Sweden. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation as a strong rebounder, a dependable interior defender and a consistent presence in the post.

Last season, she averaged 6.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 46.8% shooting from the field, showcasing her ability to control the boards and contribute on both ends of the floor. Her size, skill and experience make her a key addition to the Gladiators’ frontcourt.

Okodugha’s basketball journey took her to the United States, where she played at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. A standout multi-sport athlete, she also competed in track and field and cross country while earning accolades including the Frank “Tick” Coleman Sportsmanship Award and Scholar Athlete of the Year. She later continued her education at SOAS University of London, balancing her studies with her basketball career.

Okodugha’s combination of maturity, athleticism and leadership will be invaluable as the Gladiators continue to build a squad capable of challenging at the highest level. Her signing reflects the club’s focus on adding both proven international talent and versatile skill sets to the roster.
