Caledonia Gladiators are thrilled to announce the signing of Daylen Williams, a versatile 6’8” American forward from Los Angeles, California, ahead of the 2025-26 SLB Season.
Williams joins the Gladiators following a strong professional season with Akademik Plovdiv in Bulgaria’s NBL, where he averaged 13.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game, along with 1.3 steals and 0.4 blocks, highlighting his two-way impact on the court.
Before turning pro, Williams competed at the NCAA Division 1 level, spending three seasons with Cleveland State University before transferring to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). His debut season at UTRGV earned him Male Newcomer of the Year honours in 2022-23, reflecting his immediate influence on the team’s performance.
Known for his athleticism, rebounding strength and ability to score in multiple ways, Williams will add size, versatility and energy to the Gladiators frontcourt. Entering his second year as a professional, Williams will look to make an impact straight away, helping the Gladiators as they look forward to a successful 2025-26 SLB campaign.
