This game was a test of guts and character for the Gladiators, and although the result didn’t go their way, their fight throughout told a story of a team refusing to give in.

Right from TIP-OFF the Lions turned up the pressure, slicing through the Gladiators’ defence with efficiency, pushing the pace and racking up scoring runs. The stats show how tough the night was: Caledonia connected on just 32% of field-goals, while London soared at 63%. The gap in two-point execution was stark: 15/40 (37%) for the Gladiators versus 22/29 (75%) for the Lions.
Despite a tough first half, the Gladiators refocused heading into the final 20 minutes of action, doubling their points total by the end of the 3rd quarter. With a battle-ready spirit the Gladiators would have their best 10 minutes of action during the 4th quarter, to help cut into the impressive lead the Lions had forced.

The Gladiators would continue to battle throughout the game but would continue to struggle against the might of the London Lions. A tough game at home but we will regroup and turn our focus onto Manchester next Sunday.
