Donnie MacDonald

BIOGRAPHY

Following a successful campaign as an Assistant Coach with the professional women’s side, Donnie moved into a full-time position as one of two head coaches for our new High-Performance Programme. He will lead the girls, whilst Darryl Wood will lead the boys.

MacDonald has a strong history in British Basketball, coaching across Scotland and with GB national teams for years. Most recently, he was the Head Coach for Great Britain’s U16 Women last summer, in their European Championships run.

Alongside his new academy role, he will continue to assist Miguel Ortega on the sidelines with the women’s squad, alongside Chantelle Handy, as they begin the 23/24 season.
