As we gear up for an exciting 2025/26 season, Caledonia Gladiators has announced the first wave of player updates across its professional men’s and women’s teams.

With the full fixture list set to drop in the coming weeks, the club has proudly confirmed that men’s captain Fraser Malcolm and British forward Toto Fagbenle will return for the upcoming season. Both players continue their journeys under multi-year deals and remain core to ambitions on the court.

The 6’6” Falkirk-native Fraser Malcolm is a two time Commonwealth Games representative for Scotland and brings a wealth of experience to Caledonia Gladiators, helping claim the first trophy in over 20 years with the 2023 BBL Trophy win.

Fresh off his rookie season with the Gladiators, Toto Fagbenle is back for season two in Gladiator blue. Dubbed the ‘human highlight reel’, the 6’9” forward is known for his explosive style of play above the rim and his game-changing energy. The SLB Trophy Dunk Contest winner, U23 GB 3×3 International and fan favourite looks to showcase his versatility on both ends of the ball heading into his second season of professional basketball.

On the women’s side, Caledonia Gladiators welcomes back three fan favourites following their standout performances during last season’s SLB Trophy-winning campaign: Hannah Robb, Robyn Lewis and Mathilde Domenger.

Returning for her second season with the club, Mathilde Domenger was instrumental last year, earning SLB Trophy MVP honours and being voted both the Club Player of the Year and Fan Player of the Year for 2024/25. The 24-year-old French guard brings energy, skill and leadership to the squad.

Hannah Robb and Robyn Lewis, two standout Scots, also re-sign for another season. Robb brings extensive international experience, having represented Scotland at U16, U18, and Senior levels, as well as Team Scotland at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and Great Britain in FIBA EuroBasket. Lewis has represented Scotland at every age level and also played for GB U20s, underlining her importance to the national programme and our team.

These returning players represent the foundation of the squads as the club prepares for the season ahead. Their experience and leadership will be vital as it integrates new signings and builds momentum.

More Signings to Come…

This is just the beginning. Caledonia Gladiators will be announcing new signings for both teams starting from 5pm today. Fans should follow the club’s social channels and check back here regularly for the latest news.
