We are delighted to announce our second signing of the season as 25-year-old guard Téa Adams returns to the club!
The 5ft 9 combo will be well known to fans of the Gladiators being a major part of the 2022/23 season where she played in 20 games averaging a very impressive and balanced stat line of 14 points, 4 assists and rebounds as well as 2 steals on average per game – form that coaches Miguel Ortega, Chantelle Handy and Donnie MacDonald will no doubt hope she can recover in the coming season.
After leaving Gladiators last year Téa signed in Germany for the Leverkusen Wings before joining Valur Reykjavik in Iceland for the remainder of the year again filling the stat sheet with an average of 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game. She has also featured internationally for the Estonian national side in the European Championships facing off against the GB team in the process.
Head of Basketball Miguel Ortega said on the signing:
“We are very happy to see the return of Téa who has shown a real appetite to re-join the club after a successful spell elsewhere. We are bringing her back because we not only know her skill level, but she is also exactly the type of person we want at this club. Welcome home!”
Téa sent her hello back to the Gladiators fans:

“I’m so excited to be back on the gladiators for the 2024/25 season. Looking forward to competing in the WBBL and EuroCup with Chan as my coach. It’s going to be a great season and hopefully a lot of success”.
