The Caledonia Gladiators delivered an impressive all-around performance to secure a dominant 64 – 98 road over the Leicester Riders in the Super League Basketball Women’s Championship.

The Gladiators set the tone early, taking control with a 13 – 25 first quarter before extending their advantage to 29 – 55 thanks to strong defence and efficient scoring. The Gladiators continued to dictate the pace after the break, stretching their lead further in the third quarter and comfortably closing out the game.

Brynn Masikewich led the way with a standout MVP performance, finishing with 33 points on 13-of-18 shooting while adding 8 rebounds and controlling the paint throughout the contest. Captain Tierra Hodges also produced a superb display, recording a 20-point, 12-rebound double-double to anchor the Gladiators on both ends of the floor.

As a team, the Gladiators shot 55% from the field, dominated inside with 62 points in the paint, and forced 22 Leicester turnovers, turning defence into offense to seal an emphatic victory on the road.
