Tipping off the SLB 2025-26 awards season, two of our own, Kyle Jimenez and Mathilde Domenger, have been awarded the Molten Community Champion Award for their work outside of training and game day action.
Giving his time voluntarily, Kyle regularly attends fixtures midweek and at weekends, often following demanding SLB double-header schedules, demonstrating a deep commitment to the team and wider community. His selflessness, leadership, and genuine care for others have strengthened connections within the programme and beyond.
Mathilde has been recognised for her exceptional commitment to community engagement, consistently going far beyond expectations. A leading presence within the Gladiators programme, she dedicates her time multiple times each week to working with young people, schools, fans, and partners. Her impact is driven by genuine care and authenticity, building meaningful one-to-one connections that help young athletes grow not only in their basketball ability, but in confidence, behaviour, and personal development.
Caledonia Gladiators are incredibly proud to see Kyle and Mathilde named as Molten Community Champions for the 2025/26 season, their actions across this season have created opportunities and inspiration for those following in their footsteps, further strengthened relationships both in and outside the club, and continuously reminded us what exceptional role models look like.
