Caledonia Gladiators are delighted to announce the signing of American forward Jay Nagle ahead of the 2026/27 Super League Basketball season.

The 6’8” forward joins the Gladiators following a productive 2025/26 campaign with Danish side Svendborg Rabbits, where he established himself as an important contributor, averaging 10.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

Nagle arrives in Scotland with experience across a number of European leagues, having previously represented teams in Denmark, Germany, Greece and Georgia.

The Vacaville, California native began his collegiate career at UC Santa Barbara, spending four seasons with the Gauchos before transferring to Idaho State for his senior campaign.

Following his collegiate career, Nagle made the move into professional basketball in Europe, beginning with Tkibuli Orbi in Georgia in 2023/24. His performance in Georgia earned him a spot in the NBA Summer League in July 2024, being selected for the Sacramento Kings’ California Classic roster, adding another notable chapter to his basketball journey.

With preparations for the new season underway, Nagle will join his new teammates in East Kilbride as the Gladiators looks to make a strong start to the season ahead.
