Caledonia Gladiators can today confirm the signing of British-Bosnian center, Fahro Alihodzic who last played with Bashkimi in Kosovo. 

The 33-year-old has played all over, with teams in Argentina, Greece, Belgium and most recently, Kosovo. So far this campaign, he has averaged 12.5 points and 7.8 rebounds in the Kosovan first division.

In the 2020-21 season, he suited up for London Lions, averaging 7.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in 15.9 minutes of action. His play contributed to the Capital side’s 23-7 BBL Championship record that campaign, picking up a piece of silverware, the team’s first BBL Trophy on the way.

 

 

Alihodzic said: “I’m looking forward to moving to Scotland, the franchise seems to be moving forward and pushing in the right direction, G is a great coach and I can’t wait to work under him.

Head Coach, Gareth Murray added: “Fahro is a superb talent, I’m excited to bring him in and see what he can do in the for us in his second stint in the BBL.”

Fahro will wear the #25 jersey for the Scottish side and he is signed up until the end of next season.
