BBL MATCH PREVIEW| GLADIATORS GEAR UP FOR BBL CLASH AGAINST PLYMOUTH

The Plymouth City Patriots will make the lengthy journey up north to face the Caledonia Gladiators in the BBL as both sides look to continue their recent form.

The Gladiators come into this game with two consecutive wins to their name. A second home victory of the season against Leicester was followed up by a 77-68 win over Sheffield in the BBL Cup quarter finals.

Caledonia will be looking to expand on their winning streak as they prepare to take on the Patriots for the second time this season.

When the sides last met in October, it was the patriots who took the win as they claimed a 93-85 home victory.

The Pats are also coming into this game with a two-game win streak as they recently defeated Newcastle and Manchester.

Plymouth currently sit ahead of the Gladiators in the BBL standings by two points. However, the Patriots have played a game more than the light blues.

Our last five meetings

Both teams contain some of the league’s most prolific players so far this season. The Caledonia’s David Sloan leads the league in points per game while Plymouth’s Elvisi Dusha is second in the league in assists per game.

Jordan Burns will be looking to expand on his impressive start as he made a strong first impression with his efficient performance against Leicester. Burns also scored 14 points in the cup against Sheffield.

Players such as Patrick Tape and Jeremiah Bailey will also be hoping to continue their recent run of good form in their bid to claim the W against Plymouth.

The Gladiators will be defending their home court once again at the Emirates Arena. You won’t want to miss out on this one!
