Patrick Tapé and Jeremiah Bailey continue their on-fire form with two BBL All-Star Five selections thanks to their solid performances against Manchester Giants away from home, and vs Sheffield Sharks yesterday evening at the Emirates.
Tapé had 19 points, nine rebounds and 3 blocks in the 18-point victory in Manchester, leading all scorers. He was supported massively by Jeremiah Bailey who put up 18 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. Last night, the two were in double digits once more, with ‘JB’ contributing a solid 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists, and Tapé, who is preparing to represent Ivory Coast, adding 10 points, 5 rebounds and a block to the statsheet.
Pat, who is averaging 11.6 points per game in Championship action, has stepped up massively for Gareth Murray’s side in the past weeks. For seven games running, he has scored in double digits.
