Caledonia Gladiators announce the signing of two new players, Albert Ventura and Jett Speelman for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

Albert Ventura, 32, is a Spanish guard who has played his entire career in Spain. Moving up the youth ranks in Spain, Ventura began his professional career at Joventut Badalona, earning a position in their first team in 2012. He would continue at Joventut Badalona for 10 years, before moving onto HLA Alicante and then Basquet Girona. Ventura has had the opportunity to play against top European talent in the Spanish ACB and brings his experience and playmaking abilities to our team for the remainder of the season.

Jett Speelman, 30, is an American forward who has had the opportunity player overseas since his university career at Ashland University and Denison University.  Most recently, Speelman was playing in the Brazilian NBB for Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro, having played in Europe prior to his move to South America. Starting his professional career in Luxembourg, Speelman has also played in Portugal and the Netherlands and is ready to show fans at Playsport his hustle and strong outside shooting.
