Excitement abounds as the Caledonia Gladiators find themselves placed in Group B of the highly anticipated FIBA EuropeCup. Renowned for their basketball prowess, the Gladiators’ entry into this prestigious group sets the stage for electrifying matchups and intense competition. As they go head-to-head with some of Europe’s finest teams, fans can anticipate a showcase of skill, teamwork, and a passion for the game that defines the Gladiators’ style.
Caledonia Gladiators will travel to Turkey at the end of September as they face Swiss champions, Fribourg, in the first round of the Basketball Champions Qualifiers. If the Gladiators fail to reach the Champions League, we will drop down into the FIBA EuropeCup.
After being confirmed as 4th seed, we have been drawn against BC CSU Sibiu of Romania, current EuropeCup Champions, Anwil Wloclawek, and Surne Bilbao Basket of Spain.
