Next up, Gareth Murray’s BBL side take on Manchester Giants this Sunday in the BBL Championship – TICKETS. Also, Miguel Ortega’s WBBL side welcome Sheffield Hatters to town on Sunday 9th April – TICKETS

This weekend, both BBL and WBBL sides are in action as Gareth Murray’s side welcome Manchester Giants to the Emirates on Sunday, and Miguel Ortega’s side travel south to take on Manchester Met Mystics.

First up, on Saturday, Miguel Ortega and co. travel to England’s Northwest to take on Manchester Met Mystics, who sit at the foot of the WBBL table with a 1-15 record – their only win coming against Nottingham Wildcats at the start of the month. Gladiators, on the other hand, are looking to expand on their form, having just beat Cardiff Met Archers in Wales at the weekend.

After that, Manchester’s BBL franchise travel north as they come to the Emirates Arena to face the Trophy winners, Caledonia Gladiators, fresh off a historic victory in front of 6,000 fans. The home squad will be high on energy and motivation, as they look to continue their form and push for a top 4 place, the second of the team’s main goals for the season.

In what’s set out to be an exciting game, the Trophy holders take on the team who sit just above them in the league, in 4th place, whilst the Gladiators sit in 5th. Both sides will be aiming for the desired top 4 place, to give them home advantage when it comes playoff time.

In their most recent matchup in Glasgow, Gladiators came out victorious in a thrilling 92-83 encounter which saw Aljami Durham drop 22 points in just as many minutes.

Off the court, fans can expect to see the BBL Trophy in person after the incredible victory on Sunday. Plus, of course some half-court hero competitions and some special giveaways for the crowd.
