Caledonia Gladiators are delighted to announce the signing of Czech Republican basketball star, Lukáš Palyza, to their roster. With his wealth of experience and exceptional skills on the court, Palyza is set to bring an exciting new dynamic to the Gladiators and reinforce their position as formidable contenders in the upcoming basketball season.
Hailing from Ostrava, Czech Republic, Lukáš Palyza has built an illustrious career in basketball, captivating fans worldwide with his mesmerizing performances. Standing 6’8” tall, Palyza has consistently demonstrated his prowess in shooting, ball-handling, and court vision, earning him accolades and recognition as one of the top players in his league.
Lukáš is a 5-time champion in the Czech top division and has represented his national team in multiple international tournaments, including impressive displays against The USA. Last season he averaged 9.2 PTS, 2.6 REB and 1.6 AST.
His achievements include; 2012 EuroCup Quarter Finalist, 2021 Basketball Champions League Quarter Finalist, Czech Republic Cup Winner 3x and much more.

He has played in the BCL or equivalent for the majority of his career. Another guy who has a long history with the Czech national team, Olympics, World Cup and EuroBasket’s.
