Gladiators’ first-round playoff opponents have been confirmed as Newcastle Eagles on the men’s side and Durham Palatinates on the women’s side, after the squads secured third and second place respectively last week. Whilst the women still have one away game against London Lions to conclude their regular season, tickets are now available for all quarter-final games.

In the men’s league, each round (quarter-final, semi-final) will be played in a best-of-three-game format, with the higher-seeded team receiving home advantage and playing up to two home games. If a team wins the first two games, the third game will not be required, and the winners will advance. In the women’s league, each round (quarter-final, semi-final) will be a straight knockout format with the higher-seeded team taking home advantage. The final for both men and women will be played on the 19th of May at the O2 in London.
