As a result of breaching the British Basketball League Code of Conduct during the Gladiators’ game at home vs Newcastle Eagles, Prince Onwas has received 10 penalty points for what the League’s Disciplinary Panel judged to be violent conduct, triggering a one-game suspension.
The British Basketball League operates a system of cumulative “penalty points”, and a one-game suspension comes into force whenever a person’s total penalty points reach (or exceed) each of the following totals: 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 etc.
Onwas’ suspension will be served for the Gladiators vs Manchester Giants game this Sunday, 10th December.
