Lukáš Palyza Called Up to Czech Squad for Upcoming International Window

Gladiators’ Lukáš Palyza has been called up to the Czechia squad for the upcoming EuroBasket Qualifiers international window, as part of their initial 24-man squad, following impressive form domestically in the British Basketball League, and on the continent in the FIBA Europe Cup.

Palyza has represented his country, currently ranked 19th in the world, on numerous occasions, including at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

In this window, his side will face up against Greece on the 23rd of February before taking on GB, a squad potentially including his Gladiators’ teammates Patrick Whelan and Kyle Johnson, on the 26th.
