We are thrilled to announce our pre-season schedule for the upcoming basketball season. As the teams gear up for what promises to be an exciting year, fans can look forward to a series of competitive games, including an international trip and key matchups against domestic rivals.
Gladiators Men will begin our season with a trip to Germany to face off against the BBL team Frankfurt Skyliners for their fan day on the 30th of August (5 pm local time), playing them again in a behind-closed-doors game on the same trip. See the Frankfurt announcement HERE.
Frankfurt were promoted from the ProA last season finishing up with a 24-4 record and previous to that have played every other year of their existence in the top tier. A regular in European competition between 2000-2019 across EuroLeague, EuroCup and Eurochallenge as well as latterly in the FIBA Europe Cup (winning the competition in 2016) and Basketball Champions League the “Skyliners” will prove to be stern opposition to Gladiators.
Domestically, Gladiators Women and Men will respectively play at home on the 8th of September against the Sheffield Hatters (1:30 pm) and Sheffield Sharks (4 pm) in what will be our own “fan day” with further details to be announced in the coming weeks.
Finally, on Friday the 13th of September our Gladiators Men will then head to Sheffield to take on the Sharks at 7:30 pm in our final game before our competitive season starts against Oradea in Antalya on the 17th of September

The trip to Germany will be an excellent test for our squad ahead of the European campaign, allowing us to build chemistry and gain experience against high-calibre European opposition. Then domestically the games against Sheffield will be a great way to gauge our progress and give our fans a taste of what’s to come this season.”

Tickets for the home game against Sheffield are available on fanbase now by CLICKING HERE. Fans are encouraged to secure their seats early, as this game is expected to draw a large crowd. Note that it is one ticket for both fixtures, so only buy one time and get access to two high-level games!
Tickets are a flat £12 adult, £10 concession and £5 child price with EVERY seat being allowed to upgrade to our full-day hospitality package including all-you-can-eat and drink for an additional £55. Season tickets will get access to the Sheffield games as part of their season ticket. This includes both fixtures, so if you have purchased a men’s ticket you will also get access to the women’s game and vice-versa.
