Caledonia Gladiators are delighted to announce that Quade Green and Gareth Murray have been nominated for the British Basketball League Player of The Month and Coach of the Month awards for March respectively.
Quade has had an outstanding start to life in a Caledonia Gladiators jersey and this has been reflected in being nominated for the award. Quade averaged an incredible 27.3 points, 4.3 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per game in March as the Gladiators continue to chase second position in the table.
Joining Quade in the Player of the Month nominations are Malek Green of Sheffield Sharks, Kimbal Mackenzie of Leicester Riders and Maceo Jack of Cheshire Phoenix.
All-Star North Head Coach and now nominated for Coach of the Month, Gareth Murray is one of the top picks for the award as the Gladiators hold an impressive 5-1 win/loss record for March putting us within touching distance of second place in the league table. Gareth is up against Atiba Lyons of Sheffield Sharks, and Ben Thomas of Cheshire Phoenix for the award.
