Ella Doherty returns home to Scotland after experiencing the United State collegiate system at CSU Monterey Bay and the University of Toledo. At CSU Monterey Bay she averaged 12.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, delivering standout performances, including a 37-point game and a 14-rebound outing, underlining her ability to impact the game on multiple levels.
Before heading to the United States to develop in their collegiate systems, Doherty honed her skills with Perth Phoenix, coming up through their youth team system, and gained professional experience with Caledonia Pride in the WBBL, where she spent three years with the team.
