Standing at 5’11”, Maura Fitzpatrick brings both international experience and SLB knowledge to the Gladiators. Last season with Manchester Basketball, she averaged 9.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, while shooting 40.7% from the field.
Fitzpatrick’s career has taken her across Europe, with spells at ASC Therasianum, Mainz, and Bamberg in Germany, as well as Wetterbygden in Sweden before arriving in the SLB. Prior to her professional career in Europe, Fitzpatrick enjoyed a strong collegiate career at Marist College, where she was known for her efforts on the defensive side of the ball, and was named the 2018 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year.
