The Gladiators would start the game strong taking the 18-point lead by the end of the first quarter. The Gladiators would continue to push their lead in the second quarter of SLB action, taking a 25-point lead into half-time. The Gladiators kept up their defensive intensity in the second quarter, continuing to limit the London Lions scoring to 12-points for the quarter. Despite struggle from three-point range throughout the quarter, the Gladiators put on a show up the basket to put up 19-points in the second quarter, and 47 in the first half.

Despite the 25-point lead, the Gladiators continued their defensive intensity, again limiting the Lions points output. The Gladiators would put together their best quarter of the game in the third quarter, putting up 26-points and limiting London to just 8-points. With the Gladiators increasing their lead even further throughout the third quarter, heading into the final 10 minutes of the game at Playsport. The Gladiators would enter the final quarter with a 43-point lead, with the goal to increase it even further. The score entering the final quarter of action at Playsport was 73 – 30 to the Caledonia Gladiators.
In the final quarter, the Gladiators would put the exclamation mark on an already incredible performance this Sunday. The Gladiators would put together another strong quarter on both ends of the ball, not letting the intensity drop for a single second, putting on a show for their home fans. The Gladiators would put up a further 19-points and limit the Lions to a game low 6-points. The Gladiators took the 56-pont win at Playsport! The Gladiators look to keep their momentum going as they head out on the road next to face the Leicester Riders.
