Are you passionate about sports, physiotherapy and elite performance? Do you want to work with some of the top basketball athletes in the UK and Europe? Caledonia Gladiators, one of the premier professional basketball teams in the Super League Basketball and European competitions, are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team!

About the Role

As a Physiotherapist for Caledonia Gladiators, you’ll be the key figure in ensuring the health, fitness, and well-being of our professional athletes. This is an exciting full-time role, based at our state-of-the-art facility at the Playsport Arena in East Kilbride. You’ll play an integral part in injury management, prevention, and rehabilitation, helping our players perform at their best.

This position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll work closely with our coaching, medical, and strength & conditioning teams to support both our men’s and women’s squads throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating player injuries.
  • Developing tailored rehabilitation and recovery plans.
  • Providing court-side medical support during training and matches.
  • Implementing injury prevention programmes, including therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, massage, and taping.
  • Collaborating with the coaching staff to optimise player performance.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for a proactive, highly skilled individual who has:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with elite athletes, preferably in basketball.
  • Strong understanding of taping, rehabilitation, and injury management techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for athlete well-being.
