Hart joins the Gladiators staff after stepping down as Men’s Head Coach of the Essex Rebels, where he led the team through its inaugural British Championship Basketball (BCB) season following his own transition from player to coach.

Before moving into coaching, Hart enjoyed a 12-year professional playing career, including spells with Plymouth City Patriots and Newcastle Eagles – with whom he won the British Basketball League Trophy in 2016-17 – as well as stints in Germany, Italy and Spain, and has represented Great Britain at senior level.

In his new role, Hart will work alongside Head Coach Jonny Bunyan and the wider coaching staff to support the team’s tactical and player development as the Gladiators look to climb up the league table in the upcoming season.
