Smith arrives after starting her professional career in Greece, averaging 12.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game for Anothosis Volou in the A1 division in the 2025/26 season. The 5’10” guard then moved to Australia’s NBL1 South with Eltham Wildcats, one of the competition’s most successful clubs where she averaged 12.6 points per game.

Prior to this, Smith built an outstanding collegiate résumé built over four seasons in NCAA Division I basketball at Saint Joseph’s University. After earning Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honours in her first season, she developed into one of the conference’s most consistent performers, capping her college career with First Team All-Conference and All-Tournament honours in 2024-25. Her scoring ability was on full display throughout her four years at Saint Joseph’s, including a career-best 34-point performance, which ranks tied for fourth in Saint Joseph’s history.

A native of Nova Scotia, Smith’s talent was recognised early in her career on the international stage, having been named Nova Scotia’s Junior (U-17) Female Basketball Player of the Year and identified as a member of the Canada Basketball U-17 National Team. Further to this, she has played for the Canadian 3×3 National Team at U23 level.
