The 6’8″ forward arrives in Scotland following an impressive collegiate career in the United States, most recently with the University of Montana, where he established himself as one of the Big Sky Conference’s most consistent frontcourt players.

Sawyer concluded his time with the Grizzlies as a member of the University’s prestigious 1,000-point club, finishing his collegiate career with more than 1,500 points across six seasons. During his final year at Montana, he averaged 11.4 points and a team-leading 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting an outstanding 57.5% from the field, earning Honorable Mention All-Big Sky recognition.

Known for his physical presence, versatility and efficiency around the basket, Sawyer brings size, athleticism and valuable experience to a Gladiators side continuing to build for an exciting new era under Head Coach Jonny Bunyan.
