Freeman arrives full of confidence after a standout 2025-26 campaign with Anglia Ruskin University in WNBL Division One, where she averaged 18.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.4 steals per game across 19 appearances. She was a consistent scorer all season, topping 20 points on eight separate occasions, including a 32-point outburst against Manchester Mystics and a 28-point follow-up in the rematch.
Before her time at Anglia Ruskin, the 5’11” guard came through the ranks at Essex Rebels, Nottingham Wildcats and Oaklands Wolves, giving her a great deal of experience within the league.
She’s also earned her respect on the international stage – Freeman came through the GB youth pathway at U16 and U20 level, and has more recently represented Wales and Great Britain at senior level in 3×3 basketball, helping her side to four wins from four in a tournament in Belfast.
With strong scoring instincts and a high motor on both ends of the floor, Freeman adds real excitement to the Gladiators roster.
